TO REPLAY OR NOT TO REPLAY - BET ON IT...With pressure mounting for the abolition of FA Cup replays, William Hill have opened a book on whether they will be done away with in or before the FA Cup of 2008/9 for matches played in the 3rd Round and/or beyond.

Hills offer odds of 6/4 that replays for the 3rd Rd and/or beyond will be abolished in or before the 2008/9 season and 1/ 2 that they will still be in place at that time.

'What the big clubs want the big clubs seem to get these days, so it is probably only a matter of time before replays are consigned to history' said William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe.
