And the Old Trafford club are 5/1 to win the trophy with Celtic 66/1 shots.

Arsenal are 5/6 to progress following their 1-0 defeat against PSV.

Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: "United's win was a shocker. If only Lille's disallowed goal had stood the story would have been completely different.

"At least we got the Gunners beaten which sank a number of Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea trebles. -We would have been sweating on Porto doing us a favour ."

Barcelona are 7/2 favourites to win the competition.
