LADBROKES are 6/4 about Chelsea recording a loss of less than £50 million at the close of business for this year’s trading.

The firm’s spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: “The Blues’ losses are decreasing but with an owner as affluent as Abramovich it's proving hard to refrain from splashing the cash."

“The club want to be in the black by the end of 2010. But as it stands the Blues will be in the red for the foreseeable future."
